NAME Emmeline Sophia Skye. She usually goes by the name of Ema, though. FANDOM Ace Attorney! AGE 21 PB Zooey Deschanel SUPPLANT Family supplant with John Smith. OCCUPATION She’s a bartender at the Green Barrel, and taking full time classes at the local university. APPEARANCE Ema is an attractive girl, all in all. She has dark brown hair that’s about medium length, and hazel eyes. She has a fair skin tone, an attractive body, and pretty features. She’s about 5’6, maybe, not the tallest girl you’ve ever seen but it isn’t as if she really cares that much. The problem is Ema seems to be almost constantly grumpy, unless she is around her friends or something that intrigues her. When she’s in a bad mood, she’s overall less attractive. However, when she is in a fairly good mood, she’s a much prettier picture. She’s not adept at hiding her feelings, in the least. PERSONALITY Ema is a bright, intuitive person, but like previously stated, has an unfortunate ability to be grumpy about 90% of the time. Things get on her nerves easily, and as they accumulate she quickly gets a little bit grouchy. She tends to treat people she does not know with a certain amount of disdain and lack of interest. If they some how interest her, however (like people she knows, or they say or act intriguing), Ema’s moods also are known to quickly change. Along with her rapidly changing moods, Ema is a naturally curious person. She works constantly to learn more things and understand things she currently does not. She constantly strives to better herself and works hard to do it, too. Ema is an enjoyable girl, if you’re friends, but she tends to be hard to become friends with. Instances in her past cause her to be a little untrusting and suspicious. |

HISTORY When Ema was little, she was held hostage by a serial killer. When people came to her aide, a good friend of her sister (and herself, by association) was killed. Ema lived with guilt, believing it was her fault that he had died. Her sister, who had once been warm and welcoming, was now cold and distant. Ema felt very alone, even though she still had her sister. Years later, it was uncovered that it was not Ema’s fault that the man died. In fact, it was a man named Damon Gant, who was using the information to blackmail her sister. After this revelation, Ema was much more at peace with herself. Her sister slowly reverted to the woman she used to be, though from the confines of a jail cell because of the activites she’d taken part whilst being blackmailed. Ema had always been infatuated with science, particularly the crime scene variety. When she was old enough, she went away to take classes abroad, hoping to become a crime scene investigator. Unfortunately, she was unable to pass the test which would gain her the license, and instead she was assigned to be a lowly detective. Because of this, her mood was quite negative, and was easily aggravated in a job she didn’t want. It probably didn’t help that she didn’t really get along with her boss. However, she had a few good friends, and met a few new ones, which made her life a little less miserable. She still enjoys doing anything scientific, and often brings to scenes tools a detective doesn't need to have. IN GAME HISTORY Ema Skye has lived a fairly normal but a happy existence. She was born to a single mother, who married someone that was not her birth father when Ema was about three. Ema loves both of her parents, and considers her step-father to be her father. Ema has always been a sweet, loving, and happy girl. She was a mix of class clown and nerd back in her school days but she was pretty popular in high school regardless. It's hard to not get along with Ema, as long as you stay on her good side. Ema has had plenty of relationships in her day, but only one that she can still think of favorably. A good three years ago, she met Gladys Johnson while out one night. It had been a chance encounter, but the two of them had a short but passionate and loving relationship for almost a year. While they have since parted ways, they are still very close and tend to be very flirtatious when they are around each other. They've also made a promise that if they never find someone else, they will raise a child together. Ema and Glad are on very good terms, and still care for each other a lot. Ema is also fantastic friends with Nyota Berry. The two of them spend a lot of time together, and she is ridiculously fond of her. The two of them lived next door back when they were still quite small, and Ema thinks this is why they are such great friends. Even when they moved away from each other, they still kept close, and they are still as close as they were when they lived next door to each other. |
